I finally got to write about the blog’s January Play Challenge. This has been long overdue, but I just can’t seem to get the groove back into writing. But because the little boy is asleep now and I don’t have any pending household chores, here I am writing a recap of the first play challenge.
For those of you who have been following me on Facebook, or Instagram, you might already know a challenge I started this year. I wrote a brief introduction of that here: PLK 7 Day Play Challenge
The goal of the January Play Challenge is for moms and kids to spend about 15-30 minutes together. This time should be used in purposeful play. It is a good way of stimulating our children during the day, and also create lasting memories with them.
Moreover, the January Play Challenge consists of easy and basic educational materials that we already have at home. I specifically made it this way so that moms or dads would not have a hard time looking for these materials. Here’s the recap of the January Play Challenge.

January 7-Day Play Challenge
Here’s what Enzo and I did for the entire week:

First Day: Paint

Second Day: Clay

Third Day: Water

Fourth Day: Paper

Fifth Day: Sand

Sixth Day: Popsicle Sticks

7th Day: Outdoors
You can look into the #PlayfullifewithkidsChallenge, #PLKJanPlayChallenge for posts of our challenge takers. I did not want to post them on the blog cause there might be some privacy issues with the parents.
The January Play Challenge was indeed a SUCCESS! I had uninterrupted time every day with Enzo doing the challenges. In addition, I loved seeing other people doing activities with their children. I even gained a lot of ideas from all of them.
Additionally, I also like to feature our January Play Challenge Winner: Mommy Geneve and daughter Jam. They completed all the challenges and followed all the mechanics. I enjoyed looking at their activities. More importantly, I gained a new friend thru this challenge.

The February Play Challenge is already done. So hope you’ll stay tuned and watch out for our March Play Challenge.
Halos lahat po ginagawa namin ng daughter ko except for the popsicle but I will make it soon lalo na at lage ko siya kasama everyday.
